West Oahu Medical Genetics was founded by Dr. Julie Won Ireland. She is a Medical Geneticist and returned to Hawaii from the Mayo Clinic in 2005. Our clinic serves children and adults with medical conditions secondary to hereditary or genetic causes. While primarily serving the West side of Oahu, our patients come from all over the State of Hawaii.

Because of the complexity and personal nature of genetic conditions, Dr. Ireland takes extra time to evaluate and explain all aspects of the consultation, genetic testing and plans.

Dr. Ireland has been Board Certified in Medical Genetics since 2005 and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.
